"Declaration of Happiness " Banquet

Live for the glory of God, be tender, kind, and courteous to each other. The happiness of your lives will consist in making God your trust, and in seeking to make each other happy. Practice self-control. It is so easy to speak thoughlessly, words that grieve and wound. Do not venture to trifle with each others feelings. Practice patience, encourage love, discipline yourselves to guard every word and action, and study how you can be a blessing to each other.

Love is a delicate plant; rude blasts frequently bruise it if they do not uproot it entirely.

Never make a third person your confident. Your private life is sacred; keep the barriers high, that no one may presume to intrude into the sacred circle. Be calm and tranquil, patient, forebearing, and forgiving.

A word more: do not speak a word in jest that shall injure or reflect upon the other. Never recount the mistakes, or errors, or faults of each other in the presence of a third person, or in company, be the circle ever so select. live for God and for each other."
~ Ellen G. White to her son after three months of his marriage.

Law of the Land tea

"An unconstitutional act is not law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties; affords no protection; it creates no office; it is in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never passed." ~ Norton Vs Shelby County, 118 US 425
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality dates from the time of its enactment, and not merely from the date of the decision so branding it. An unconstitutional law, in legal contemplation, is as inoperative as if it had never been passed. Such a statute leaves the question that it purports to settle just as it would had the statute not been enacted.
"Such an unconstitutional law is void, the general principles follow that it imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection, and justifies no acts performed under it...
A void act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitional law cannot operate to supersede any existing valid law. Indeed, insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the land, it is superseded thereby.
No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it." ~ Sixteenth American Jurisprudence 2nd Section
Miscarriage of Justice Casserole
Where have all the flowers gone, Long time passing.
Where there is a lack of honor in government the morals of the whole people are poisioned. We were warned by our founders that the Judiciary would be the most likely to usurp the law. We have in affect today an "Imperial Judiciary" engaged in assult on lawful government. The outrageous decrees from these tyrants over the last forty plus years have indeed poisioned society unlike the leave it to Beaver and Father knows best society that I grew up in. Perhaps the most damage was the Roe Vs Wade decission. The Courts of this land belong to "we the people" and its high time we become knowledgable of our rights and powers. The Constitution was written by "we the people" but by our lazy complacency and an education system that has become misguided our youth have been robbed of our heritage. Remembering our foundations, We are suffering from a severe case of national amnesia. As recently as 1972, the U.S. Court of appeals for the Dist of Columbia said that the Jury has an "Unreviewable and Irreversible power" ... to acquit in disregard of the instructions of the law given by the trial judge.... ~ US Vs Dougherty, 473F2d 1113,1139. [1972]
"If a jury have not the right to judge between the government and those who disobey its laws, the government is absolute, and the people are slaves." ~ Lysander Spooner The Unknowing are slaves to liars
"An ignorant people are easily betrayed, and a wicked people can never be ruled by the mild influence of their own laws." ~ Arthur J. Stanbury [1828]
"It will always be easy to rob an ignorant people of their liberty as to pick the pockets of a blind man." ~ Phillips Payson Election Sermon 1778
There are many wonderful people working to restore this great nation to its former glory, the [fully informed jury association] is but one.
I suggest that anytime a trial judge [director of court room traffic] instructs the jury on his view of points of law he or she is guilty of jury tampering! a Felony offense! "They have done violence to the law... the unjust knoweth no shame." Zeph 3 : 4-5 "Woe to them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed." ~ Isaiah 10:1
[Courts] routinely rubber stamp egregious violations of the 1st, 4th, 5th amendments, and allow Congress to legislate wildly outside the bounds of its enumerated powers." ~ the truly Honorable Congressman Ron Paul of Texas
" All the extravagance and incompetence of our present government is due, in the main, to lawyers... they are responsible for nine-tenths of the useless and vicious laws that clutter the statute books, and for the evils that go with the vain attempts to enforce them..." ~ H.L. Mencken [1924]
Let us encourage and support those principled people in authority who honor their oath of office. We are favored by having a few on the U.S. Supreme Court.
"Therefore, I exhort, first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godlinness and reverence."
~ 1 Timothy 2: 1-2 [NKJV]
History Review Soup
I love to read quotes. So many fine people have with elequence said what needs to be heard today. I like this one that follows, it is so true yet unthinkable to the programed mind.
"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed-- and hence clamorous to be led to safety--by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." ~ Henry Louis Mencken
And this one. "Governments routinely rely on hoaxes to sell their agendas to an otherwise reluctant public." Unknown
It was but 35 years ago they were trying to sell another ice age. Truth is the world and the fullness therein belongs to the Lord. Cold and heat will continue till he be ready to melt it unto the new earth. Trust in the Lord.
Garden Salad
Our lives are gardens. Our very thoughts are seeds which if harbored will sprout and grow. We cultivate these plants by continued mental visitation. Whatsoever we plant and allow to take root will develop in our lives. We can plant the seeds of love, kindness, meekness, patience and compassion. We can otherwise plant the seeds of bitterness, hate, selfishness. Whatsoever we plant in our garden of life will develop in time to our joy and happiness or to our regret and sorrow.
"Thoughts are seeds you plant in the garden of your life, choose well what you plant." ~ undisclosed
"Commit your works unto the Lord, and your thoughts shall be established."
~ Proverbs 16:3
"Do little things with great love." Mother Teresa
Economic Meats
Our current economic policies are established on greed if not destructive intent.
"The measure of wealth of a nation is indicated by the measure of its production of its industry: the measure of the poverty of a nation is marked by the degree in which it neglects and abandons the care of its industry. Leaving it exposed to the actions of foreign powers." Congressman Henry Clay 1824
"If we buy a steel rail from England, we have the rail and they have the money, But if we buy it from ourselves, we have both the rail and the money."
~ Abraham Lincoln
The truth is Gold is free market competition to government issued debt backed, fiat [valueless] paper currencies. This is particularly the case of the world's reserve currency, the dollar.
"Paper is poverty... it is the ghost of money, and not money itself ~ Thomas Jefferson
"Wake up, you idiots! Whatever made you think paper was so valuable?"
~ Kurt Vannegut
"In the absence of the Gold standard, there is no way to protect savings from confiscation through inflation. There is no safe store of value... ... [Gold] stands as a protector of property rights ~ Alan Greenspan - Gold and Economic Freedom
"By a continuing process of inflation, governments can confiscate, secretly and unabserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens. There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose." ~ John Maynard Keyes The Economic Consequences of the peace 1920
