Woeful Sandwich

Indeed we live in a time when wrong is right and right is wrong. The Judicial branch, perverse and decadent has allowed the Congress to legislate far in excess of the limitations imposed on it by the Constitution.

"Judgment is turned away backward and justice stands afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil, maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it and it displeased him that there was no judgment." ~ Isaiah 59: 14-15

Our nations direction is the responsibility of us as individuals. We are failing to keep a diligent watch on our leaders or else we have succumb to selfishness, the what can government do for me attitude. If we continue to allow our nation to follow the path of corruption we will suffer the disaster as other nations have fallen.
"Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgressions..." ~ Isaiah 58:1

This writer has become a member of the Constitution party as a alternative to the 2 major parties that have set aside principle for the love of money. Congressman Ron Paul has always honored his oath of office. A man of unwavering character and principle. He is my choice for the next president.

"...to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? " ~ Isaiah 58:6

Educator's Nourishing wisdom salad

"When you become entitled to exercise the right of voting for public officers, let it be impressed on your mind that God commands you to choose for rulers, just men who will rule in the fear of God. The preservation of a [our] government depends on the faithful discharge of this duty; If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made not for the public good so much as for the selfish or local purposes; Corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizens will be violated or disregarded. If a [our] government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the divine commands, and elect bad men to make and administer the laws."
~ Noah Webster [1832]

Kent State University Sour Dough

It was May 4th, 1970 that Ohio National Guard killed four students and wounded nine others. The students were actively protesting Nixon's invasion of Cambodia. Young Jeffrey Miller was shot through the mouth. Newsweek magazine displayed photograph on its May 18, 1970 cover with banner "Nixon's Home Front"

"Therefore, I exhort, first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." 1 Timothy 2: 1-2 [NKJV] ~ Titus

No swine in this Cafe

Recently I visited a local animal health store. looking about for the product I was there for my eyes were taken by several products for worming your pet. Worms, It's not at all uncommon for livestock producers to worm their cattle and etc, or atleast it wasn't when I grew up. I remember too that we children were wormed. Hey, kids are always touching things and putting their fingers in their mouth. A perfect way to intake worm %#@*^. Now people don't know perhaps that the purpose of hogs [swine] like buzzards and vultures is to clean up rotten flesh of things that died. The pig is a scavenger. The swine can have a host of worms. To name a few there's the Flukes- the common liver fluke, the lung fluke. And there's the Tapeworms - the pork bladder worm, the thin-necked bladder worm, the hydatid, Roundworms--- have not I said enough?
There be government publications in the 1970's and 1980's on this matter of swine internal parasites if yet available. It's such a shame that info is disgarded due to age or conflict with political/economic agenda. I love old books, I trust not today's rewriting of history/political correct accounts. Do the research.
I believe all children/adults should be cleansed if possible of worms. This I must do. As for me and my house no more pork. The menu of this Cafe is porkless. ~ Titus

"Declaration of Happiness " Banquet

Live for the glory of God, be tender, kind, and courteous to each other. The happiness of your lives will consist in making God your trust, and in seeking to make each other happy. Practice self-control. It is so easy to speak thoughlessly, words that grieve and wound. Do not venture to trifle with each others feelings. Practice patience, encourage love, discipline yourselves to guard every word and action, and study how you can be a blessing to each other.

Love is a delicate plant; rude blasts frequently bruise it if they do not uproot it entirely.

Never make a third person your confident. Your private life is sacred; keep the barriers high, that no one may presume to intrude into the sacred circle. Be calm and tranquil, patient, forebearing, and forgiving.

A word more: do not speak a word in jest that shall injure or reflect upon the other. Never recount the mistakes, or errors, or faults of each other in the presence of a third person, or in company, be the circle ever so select. live for God and for each other."
~ Ellen G. White to her son after three months of his marriage.

Law of the Land tea

"An unconstitutional act is not law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties; affords no protection; it creates no office; it is in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never passed." ~ Norton Vs Shelby County, 118 US 425
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality dates from the time of its enactment, and not merely from the date of the decision so branding it. An unconstitutional law, in legal contemplation, is as inoperative as if it had never been passed. Such a statute leaves the question that it purports to settle just as it would had the statute not been enacted.
"Such an unconstitutional law is void, the general principles follow that it imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection, and justifies no acts performed under it...
A void act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitional law cannot operate to supersede any existing valid law. Indeed, insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the land, it is superseded thereby.
No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it." ~ Sixteenth American Jurisprudence 2nd Section
